This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

"There's a difference between just insulting and pointing out facts.
What I said was that the wing-ding arrows have already been whored out by every designer in the world. They are a sign of amatuer design and problems with originality. The only people who use them now are those without a clue: the kids on geocities, indian designers trying to emulate American and European styles, etc.
Trends aren't great. They're tacky. And when you blatantly make a trend the central part of your work, be it art, a site, whatever, you're going to get criticized. "
my response:
*cough, that is one of the most terrible insults that I have ever heard.
1 - Q) you are saying that the person it question doesnt have a clue about design, this includes anybody that uses the same style.
1 - A) it isnt tacky if you use arrows, 45 degree angle lines etc, any style can be both professional looking or tacky, its down to your skills, not the style, thou yes it is over used.
2) what the frig, you dont have any ideas do you really? that wasnt PC, with this being a website with users from all around the world.
3) without trends, what would happen to style?
4) when did, and where did the idea of putting arrows / 45 degree angle lines in design (publications / cd covers / posters / t-shirts, including the country that influened it? Because it wasnt the Western World.
5) you have a lack of information, so dont insult about things you dont know IMHO.
Wow, you took that to an extreme and then some. Don't think just because I don't like trends I'm completely against them and the users thereof.
And before you go off on another tirade, you realize this all stemmed from a crit that I said "Arrows? How 1997" . This must have really gotten to s-e-b because the original comment happened MONTHS ago.
Your attempts to derail my criticism are very poor. You came back with half-facts, assumptions, etc. I never said s-e-b was a bad designer. I said some of his techniques were bad -- using blaring trends. I actually complimented his site and I'm impressed with most of his vector work.
On a final note: "Without trends, where would style be"? ARE YOU SERIOUS?! You're justifying un-originality. Style doesn't equal a mass adoption of the same graphical choices.
Okay, so I agree on some of those points, the person in question can get very hot headed.
Thou I dont agree about the line geocities etc, as more than that are using that style, and that does insult as this is a global website.
And therefore, IMHO, trends, expand into more, and other things, thou some stay with it, and some make their own style, when once they started with arrows, and 45 degree angles (also its more early 90's (Warp Records, tDR etc)).
Thou its getting very boring, so I agree on that.
Ps the banning was about the Indian using Western styles, for infomation.
What the fuck is this, you bring out your goonies because you don't like me saying mean things? Go get a fucking life, kiddies. If you don't like me, don't talk to me. For fucks sake, this is embarrassing to even talk to you 5 about.

Get a clue, hallucination. s-e-b is just mad because he's a trendwhore, and I called him on it.
Damn, maybe I should just stick to only saying nice things all the time. Love Luck and Lollipops everybody! ^_^
